Event Toilet Hire
Event toilet hire at The Leicester 10K on 3rd March 2024 which is one of the region’s biggest and best-loved charity road runs!
Participants of all abilities and ages were invited to take part. Whether that be as part of fundraising efforts or for their own goal or reason.
The event organisers, Run For All, continue to deliver a safe and secure environment for all participants. Including event toilet hire from G & S Toilet Hire based in Yorkshire.
With a city centre start and finish, runners set off from Jubilee Square before heading into the city centre and into the beautiful greenery of Victoria Park.
The scenic landscape of the park wove runners through the University of Leicester. Before passing many of the city’s landmarks including the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral. Participants then headed back towards the city centre for the electric finish line on Jubilee Square.
This beautiful and significantly flat 10K race event took place in stunning Abbey Park in Leicester. Previous races have had over 1200 entrants choosing to take part in Leicester’s Big 10K. Either as their first ever 10K race or else the more experienced runners chose it to try and beat their PB’s.
The race had two start waves – one at 9.00am for runners that expected to complete in 45 minutes or less and then 10.00am for all the other runners. It was a lapped race and this prevented the front runners from catching the back markers which is no fun for anyone. Plus there were less queues for the hire toilets!
Prizes
Prizes were handed out on the day in the finish area. There were prizes for the first 3 finishers in each gender (only for the first race at 9am). Additional prizes for first in each age group – these start at 35 for both men and women and will be in ten-year age gaps (this was for both races).
All finishers received a bespoke finishers medal.
